Our group of so called "youths" headed for Ubin. And it was a pretty enjoyable and tiring trip. No mosquitoes came to haunt me, and this was quite surprising because compared to the last time i went, they really went for blood.
Some pics on the way to Changi port...
The sunlight seemed to be quite glaring that day..
Next, we headed for Ubin via a boat driven by a grumbling uncle.. Shouted at us even before we were his customers(i mean safely on the boat). Guess he was just trying to vent his anger after losing some weekend $.
But in the end, we managed to withstand the "storm" and reached Ubin without any casualties..
Next thing, we were already choosing the $4 per day bikes and were eager to go..
There were some miscommunication and soon 4 of the group went on their own mini adventure. Realising that, we had to go back and forth to find the missing guys.
After the regroup, here is a happy-go-lucky guy who seems to be relishing this trip..
Zongwei finally led us to a checkpoint and he looked shag. (Consider himself a sergeant). Guess where the owners of the bikes went to?
They went to pay the old wild boar a visit. Can tell that he's old by the white hair "othello-ing" the black.
Then also found some really cute hamsters. And they certainly looked hungry.
So after 3-4 hours of endless cycling, we were back to the start point. Yes, time for some cooling coconut juices.. I can really feel my body cooled down by the drink. Really wondered whether was it planned for coconuts trees to be grown on tropical islands..
And after that it's time to leave this island, and we took some pictures on the boat.. this time the driver was quite a bit of a contrast from the earlier ones, very friendly indeed..
Time to stop writing, or I would be in Malaysia by the time i upload all the pics.
Wow, really need a break from work, coz the workload really isn't for anyone who is sane. So guys when you see me, excuse me if I look into space for longer than expected.
Going to KL soon, will TRY to take some pics there (but seriously KL nothing much to take).
