Oh it's been a week since I went to Bintan Lagoon, can say it was a relaxing trip despite the 1 night stay. And the best thing about there has to be.. the beach!!~ The sand is so fine and the beach so long.. You just feel that all the worries you have been swept away by the tides and sea breeze.
And at different time of the day, you can actually experience different settings of the scenery. We went there in the evening, we thought the purple clouding looks nice enough, but the next day, we realised the morning sea is more beautiful. Tried our luck at noon time, and the sea was really blue by that time.
And long time never sat on a ferry, the comfortable sailing really makes one sleepy. Haha, it took pretty long (55min) to get to Bintan or back. A pity the ferry does not allow us to go to the top deck for a feel of the sea ;@
Hmm as for the room, it can't be a 5-star. Maybe the bed sheet spoiled the mood with it's usual style where you can find in chalets. But wait, we are not staying in a hotel, it's supposed to be a resort. So why complain? I feel more and more singaporean!~ Below is the most decent photo that Huiya took in the room. (Well girls just like to take pictures of themselves only)
Last but not least, the night life of Bintan. We took a mini-bus on a 30 min trip to Pasar Oleh Oleh. A supposedly famous pasar malam plus hawker food. But when we reached, realised that it was like a deserted pasar malam. Hardly any tourist go there. Maybe the timing we went wasn't right. Or maybe we were too used to the Singapore pasar malan where people stroll around like suakus. The food there was nice though, as we ordered a fried rice and a vegetable soup and it felt heavenly waiting kampong food.
$150++ per person. Can say not bad for a beach holiday. But if you want to play sea sports, better get an extra night. If not, snowball your money for a better place like Langkawi.

Hmmm... seldom got the time to update blog. The work has really shagged me out. But I have started to tell myself, no point struggling so hard for a sinking Titanic. Just enjoy the sink. Haha.1 more month to traffic police test. How? Just learnt parking recently, only knows how to do a left reverse park. Of course, I don't really expect myself to pass on the first time. But the way I spend on driving lesson has become the best motivation for me to do so.
Thanks that my bro has a van. Can sometimes try to get the feel of driving. But it's kinda of different driving a van and a car. Although, it's still pretty exciting when you can drive a vehicle even without a licence. Haha. Dun sabo ok.
But in the end, driving is just about practicals. You learn it long and definitely, anyone can get used to it. The worrying part is the danger on the road. Got a friend who just met with an accident, but he seemed okay and should be recovering soon. That should be another reminder to drive carefully at all times.
Okay time to stop nagging. Anyway, anyone got any good books or information on backpacking overseas? Say Vietnam, Laoz, or some neighbourhood countries. Let me know k. And also how to find budget air flights? Let me know k. And also anywhere interesting in those places? Let me know k. And also how to find cheap lodgings? Let me know k.

Girl, time really flies. It's been 4 years! Thanks for accompanying me all the while, really appreciate the gift you made for me. Hoho:>Luckily, I managed to come out with a gift for you too.
